My first review ever from Romantic Times Book reviews was FOUR STARS for AMBER INFERNO to say I was thrilled is an understatement. Here's the review, short and sweet:
In the second book of the Hearthome trilogy, Princess Rayne has to save her kingdom. Prince Pentar reluctantly volunteers to help her. The two harbor a desire for one another, though they each think it's a one-sided feeling. When they realize it's mutual, there's an explosion of sensuality.
Barrack creates a wonderful world full of magic and sensuality. Pentar is an ideal mate for any woman -- he's sensitive to female needs, yet strong and masculine. And Rayne represents the two faces of many women -- the one that tries to be self-sufficient and handle anything, and the one that craves a mate and closeness and intimacy. The journey of these two hearts should not be missed! —Tonya Nagle
